Scholarship Endowment Fund

The Scholarship Endowment Fund of The Tuckahoe Woman's Club was established in 1996 as a 501(c)3 organization to provide scholarships to area high school students as grants for undergraduate college work. An eligible student must demonstrate outstanding academic work, financial need, and strong participation in school activities and community service.

Funding for the Scholarship Endowment Fund comes from the activities of the Club's members, such as sales of the Club's cookbook, Art Show and Sale, and donations from the Tuckahoe's Philanthropic Fund. It is also supported by bequests and memorials in honor of family, members and friends and also from contributions by the community. Currently, four $3,000 scholarships are awarded annually.

Applications are available from guidance counselors at area high schools.

The Scholarship Committee encourages support through annual contributions, and memorial or honorary gifts. Donations to the Scholarship Endowment Fund are tax deductible.

Please make donations in the form of a check made payable to the Scholarship Endowment Fund. Please complete a donation form and attach it with your donation.
