The Tuckahoe Woman’s Club Rental Facility

The Tuckahoe Woman's Club is an elegant venue for wedding receptions, fundraising events, corporate gatherings, and other personal or business occasions. Renting at The Tuckahoe Woman's Club has the advantage of allowing the renter to determine the important aspects of the affair. Renters choose their own caterer, florist, entertainment, wedding designer, and other vendors that will make the event a very special one.

The two-story Auditorium is decorated with southern charm and can be setup for dinner, dancing, or theater style for corporate presentations. Depending upon your desired layout, the Auditorium can accommodate up to 180 guests for a seated dinner without dancing, or 150 guests with a dance area. The auditorium has wooden floors as well as a theatrical stage perfect for band setups and other presentations. Floor to ceiling windows allow for natural light as desired, with full length shades that may be drawn for daytime visual presentations. Over 450 guests can be comfortably accommodated in presentation style seating. A Steinway Grand Piano and projector screen is available for use upon request for an additional fee. An elegant sitting room behind the stage is available for brides, speakers, and entertainers. A private restroom facility is also located behind the stage for use by the wedding party or speaker.

gardenMemorial Garden

The gated garden space is accessed from the Auditorium through large glass French doors. Ornamental shrubs, holly trees, comfortable seating, and a 100-year-old oak tree provide a serene setting for guests. The garden can accommodate up to 125 seated guests. This space can be tented for a special effect during the day or evening events.

receptionReception Room

The Reception Room, located directly off the Auditorium and kitchen, can be used in conjunction with the Auditorium or for entertaining smaller groups. It is decorated with a large Oriental rug, brass chandeliers, and a collection of artwork. The room can accommodate up to 100 guests for cocktail parties or smaller dinner parties. The handicapped entrance and restroom facilities are conveniently located off the Reception Room in the Avon foyer.


A commercial kitchen is available for the renter's and caterer's use and is easily accessed from a driveway behind the building. A clear view into the Auditorium and Reception Room can be seen in the kitchen, making it easy for caterers to refill food and bar stations. Caterers may use kitchen equipment which includes a coffee maker, gas range and oven, electric warming oven, sink, refrigerator, freezer, ice machine, and dishwasher.

Rental Information

The rental of the facility includes the use of the Auditorium, Memorial Garden, Reception Room, and kitchen. Facility rentals are for an eight (8) hour period.
